From Our Patients

I was very skeptical of my first visit.

I was thinking ‘How could physical therapy help my stress incontinence? This must be a scam.’ How wrong I was! My therapist was extremely professional and explained every procedure and exercise in detail so that I was comfortable...

This was the best investment in my health I could have made.

For about a year—maybe longer—I was dealing with issues like not being able to hold my bladder - I remember literally running down the hallways because I couldn’t hold my bladder. It was constant. That, along with the painful sex, really impacted my quality of life. I was young, and no one around me was talking about it. I had no idea what was going on.

I had been avoiding yoga and other activities I enjoy for years...

I had been avoiding yoga and other activities I enjoy for years due to various embarrassing issues since having 2 complicated pregnancies – 1 of which blessed me with a set of twins.

I am so thankful that I found Pelvic Health Solutions

The care they provided helped me overcome all of my pelvic floor issues, including painful sex and bladder problems.

It was absolutely worth going.

I had done pelvic floor therapy before—about nine years ago, after my second child. I was diagnosed with a rectocele. I didn’t even know what that was at the time, but I had really big babies and a lot of trauma down there. I had no muscle control. The exercises were intense and time-consuming, but I was very dedicated, and after nine sessions, I was good to go.

I thought: Maybe I’ll try it once and see what happens.

I wasn’t initially sold on pelvic floor physical therapy—most PTs I’d experienced felt like a big machine with techs running the show. But my urogynecologist, who doesn’t take insurance and really knows her stuff, referred me to PHS. I figured I’d try one session and see what I could learn. I was blown away.

Our Clinics

I was very skeptical of my first visit.

I was thinking ‘How could physical therapy help my stress incontinence? This must be a scam.’ How wrong I was!

My therapist was extremely professional and explained every procedure and exercise in detail so that I was comfortable – and more importantly, so I understood the mechanics of all of the muscles and the resulting issues.

I have seen a remarkable improvement and can now enjoy simple things like taking a walk and laughing without embarrassment. It feels good to exercise again, too!

Words can’t express my appreciation for helping to get my life back to normal! My only regret is that I didn’t find you sooner!”

This was the best investment in my health I could have made.

For about a year—maybe longer—I was dealing with issues like not being able to hold my bladder – I remember literally running down the hallways because I couldn’t hold my bladder. It was constant. That, along with the painful sex, really impacted my quality of life. I was young, and no one around me was talking about it. I had no idea what was going on.

One day, I stumbled across a podcast that had a pelvic floor physical therapist as a guest. She talked about what she saw in her patients, and I thought, “Oh my gosh, this is me.” She shared a resource to find registered pelvic floor PTs in your area, and that’s how I found Pelvic Health Solutions.

I had no idea what to expect—but I was so desperate for help that I didn’t even care what it entailed. It felt like a lifeline.
From the moment I walked in, everyone was so warm and friendly. I didn’t know anything about what treatment would involve, but I felt safe and cared for. My therapist was amazing. She told me what was happening every step of the way, and I felt like I was in really good hands the whole time.

The cost was definitely a concern—it was probably my biggest one. But I can honestly say now that it was the best investment in my health I could have made. And looking back, it paid off in every way. I’ve stayed healthy since, and I haven’t needed to go back. I still use the techniques I learned whenever symptoms pop up.

I’ve told a lot of friends about it—especially as people start having babies. At first, they’re curious, then later they come back and say, “Remember when you did that? I need it now.” It’s something I’ll always recommend.

Three words I’d use to describe PHS: warm, long-lasting, educational.

I had been avoiding yoga and other activities I enjoy for years.

I had been avoiding yoga and other activities I enjoy for years due to various embarrassing issues since having 2 complicated pregnancies – 1 of which blessed me with a set of twins.

I had a reconstructive surgery to avoid an early hysterectomy. Post-op, things were still not great, but as women we often don’t discuss these types of issues.

My gynecologist suggested pelvic floor physical therapy as a potential solution. Since completing my therapy, I have successfully returned to yoga and other things I love without embarrassment!

So glad I took the leap to try it and thankful for this special medical practice and their knowledgeable and kind therapists!

I am so thankful that I found Pelvic Health Solutions

The care they provided helped me overcome all of my pelvic floor issues, including painful sex and bladder problems.

The combination of physical therapy with the home exercise programs gave a complete overhaul on my pelvic floor health.

On top of the excellent healthcare, the staff is incredibly friendly and genuinely cares about you as a whole. I recommend Pelvic Health Solutions to all of my friends!

Recently, though, things changed again. I was having new issues—urgency, incontinence. Definitely pelvic floor related. I waited a few months and then talked to my gynecologist at my annual. She said, “I’d look into Pelvic Health Solutions first. A lot of my patients have had a good experience there.”

This time, the treatment was totally different. My muscles were spasming, not weak. It was more about relaxation – and it worked. My symptoms are still there, but way less severe and now that I know what’s going on, I know what to do when my symptoms ramp up again.
The clinic itself was great. The space was spa-like. The rooms were warm and calming. Scheduling was easy. Everyone was on time. The therapists were fantastic. It was actually nice to go. I always saw the same person, which isn’t the case everywhere.

It was out-of-network, but they submitted my claims to insurance for me, and I got partial reimbursement really quickly. That helped a lot. I would’ve done it regardless, but it made it more reasonable.

For anyone on the fence, I’d say: it’s quality of life. When something impacts your day-to-day—like having urgency and incontinence at work—it’s worth it. Every therapy is expensive. This one actually helped.

Three words I’d use to describe PHS: pleasant, easy, effective.

My therapist immediately picked up on muscular asymmetries that no one had ever mentioned, and she made me feel completely comfortable in a setting that could easily feel vulnerable. The warm bed, dim lighting, and thoughtful positioning helped me relax, and the hands-on, informed care was unlike anything I expected.

I went in for urge incontinence, which had come on unexpectedly. Over five sessions, I gained not only techniques like hypopressive breathing and tibial nerve stimulation, but also a deeper understanding of my body. I wouldn’t say I’m “cured,” but I’m more in control and no longer feel powerless. That alone makes it worth it. The care was individualized, there was no rush, and I always felt seen. Cash-pay wasn’t a deterrent—I actually felt it was a good value because I received real, quality care from a skilled therapist, not a rushed session with a tech

If a friend were struggling with similar issues, I’d absolutely tell them it’s worth the investment. The knowledge alone is powerful, and you won’t find this kind of care in the traditional system.

Three words to describe PHS: Surprised, informed, satisfied.
